Overview
Designs, modifies, develops, writes and implements software programming applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design software applications and graphical user interfaces based on written specifications, feedback from users, and management direction
- Work directly with technicians and engineers to create innovative solutions – provide technical support to internal users
- Maintain and debug existing applications
- Estimate development durations and meet deadlines
- Act as interface with production technicians, and field service technicians
- Plan and track projects using Agile methodology and designated project software
Experience
- B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent
- Minimum related experience requirement: 3+ years
- Solid experience with Delphi/C#
- Experience with desktop applications
- Proficient use in REST API or system integrations is an advantage
- Mobile applications development experience is an advantage
- Front end/Back end web development is an advantage
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Minimum 3 years working knowledge of object-oriented programming, test-driven development, and software development life cycle
- Understanding of relational databases, i.e. SQL Server
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Customer Service skills
